Although Casey has been in good form of late, the prices reflect this and he is arguably a couple of points too high in both quotes. Head to heads’ since the start of 05’ show a 2-2-2 tie between Casey and Jaidee and 3-4-1 with Liang in R1 scoring on this tour which supports this view.

Sell Jeev Milkha Singh over Lian-Wei Zhang 18H MB at 3 with Sporting Index for 0.2 Pts M/U 0, Profit 0.6 Pts

Singh is coming off of his first win in 7 years and no one knows what sort of effort he will have put in in preparation for this week. Had Singh not won last week the quote here would have been nearer “choice” and arguably the allowance for the win has been overstated. Zhang is on a horrendous run of form of course, but in h2h’s since last year he is neck and neck with Singh in R1 scoring and overall tournament scoring. Singh should be favourite on current form alone but not by as much as 3-6.

Easily the outsider of three but Faldo has fair form in this part of the world and is arguably fair value at the handicap start gained from each of his opponents. Admittedly, in two events he played in 05' he struggled, but he had a 5 from 7 Top 20 record over the period 2002 - 2004. His opponents are fancied to go well of course this week, but this is a match bet over 18 holes and the volatility of that alone suggests his chance is greater than the prices issued by Spreadex.
