Well now we have the first comp out of the way in the second half of the season we should have a better idea of who's Hot and who's Not.

 

Wen Chong LIANG 14/1 -  MC

The Greek      After leading the first round last week I thought we were in the money. However he fell foul of the weather. Having to complete Rd 2 the next morning when still leading and getting to play on a course which was very wet.2 Double bogeys really pushed him back and then had to play his 3Rd round in the afternoon when I'm sure he was still smarting from his poor final 4 holes.

Bounced back on Sunday with a 66 and again the last 4 holes cost him dearly, dropping 3 shots.

He is in fine form and dearly wants to win the Order of Merit.

 

Unho PARK- 40/1-The Greek -MC 

  ---This is a speculative bet as Park as yet to win on tour. However in the off period in 3 tournaments in Malaysia he finished 1st-1st-2nd so is clearly in form. He rather blew up last week as he visibly got angry with himself when his driving fell apart. If he has worked out those gremlins he will be prominent here.

 

WEN TEH LU  -20/1- 3RD

The Greek---A winner on tour this season in Macau and played consistently last week on a difficult course, another in good form and should give a good account of himself.  

 

 

Liang was carrying a neck injury a trapped nerve so no surprise to see him miss the cut.

Park self imploded again in the 1st rd then ripped up the course in the 2nd but too much too do.

Lu i thought after round 3 was going to win but the winner came from 6 back.
