2pts ew Anirban Lahiri @ 28/1 BetVictor The gap in quality between the Asian and European tours is narrowing all the time, but I don't think this is reflected in the pricing of the Hong Kong Open. The market is headed by Jimenez and Els, both of whom have had great careers, but are arguably in decline. They are followed by Colsaerts who was completely out of form for ages until last week's second place finish (over 36 holes), and then a couple of serial non-winners in Bourdy and Derksen. The leading Asian player is Lahiri, who has been stringing together impressive results on the Asian Tour for a couple of years now. He also showed how much his game has improved when 13th at Crans recently in a very rare trip to Europe. Back in Asia now, I think he has a great chance of seeing off all the European Tour regulars.
