11-0; +2.48pts

Pre-tournament plays:

LAY 20pts liability

Johan Edfors  220  45th
Mardan Mamat 260  4mc
Oliver Fisher 170  mc
Shingo Katayama 110  67th
Rikard Karlberg 70  25th
Opposing Edfors and Karlberg whose prices are affected by the common knowledge that are both attached the Black Mountain GC and have residences close by. Edfors has struggled with injury over the past few years and managed just one top-25 finish last year, so would normally be very much higher odds in his year-opening event; Karlberg has played this year, but has a best finish of 40th and han't secured a top-25 finish for six months, so is another who would typically be priced much higher; Mamat has won a European Tour-sanctioned event but that was 10 years ago (2006 Singapore Masters), but he has made the cut in just 7 of his last 16 European Tour-sanctioned events and just two of those have resulted in a top-40 finish; Fisher is making his course debut has a best finish of 35th in six starts in 2016; while Katayama is also making his course debut and missed the cut in his only previous start in 2016.

Pre-rd3 plays:

LAY 20pts liability

Thomas Pieters 48  3rd
Pablo Larrazabal 190  45th
Johan Carlsson 220  40th
The odds are very short on Pieters for a player who is seven shots off the pace; Larrazabal is a shot further back, so is more realistically-priced, but he has never even finished in the top-5, let alone win, when eight shots back after 36 holes; while Carlsson is yet another shot further back and he hasn't even finished in the top-10 when nine shots back at this stage.

Pre-rd4 plays:

LAY 20pts liability

Joost Luiten 46  6th
Thongchai Jaidee 46  14th
Marc Warren 95  19th
Opposing three players who are outside the top-10 and six shots off the pace. None of them have ever won from outside the top-10 at the start of rd4 and with Jaidee and Warren, they have been in poor form in 2016.
