Whilst the two leaders are laden with class, neither Wiesberger or Willett are bulletproof. Taking up more a huge percentage of the book, they do leave the way open for a big price to come through and nick this event with a couple of 65s or the like.

Wiesberger is the traders dream, often making charges from behind but rarely winning from this position. Just 1/5 when leading at halfway I would make his market rival slight favourite from just one behind. Clearly Danny's biorhythms are flowing positively as he has caught alight on the run to Augusta and with just one dropped shot through his first two rounds, and putting great, he really should be outright fav.

I'm expecting Willett to trade shorter at some point and he could be a saver as a win only bet, but whilst full respect to him, I'd rather take a chance on longer priced rivals to charge.

KT Kim went win crazy on the various Far East tours during the last couple of seasons. Winning ten events in any class is clearly not to be sniffed at and whilst he hasn't translated that form to the web.com tour, the return to the Japan tour has seen him placed top three in two of his last three starts. Stats this week are perfectly suitable for the test over the weekend and given his ability to get home, he is worth the trade.

We know what Larra is going to do. Firing at every pin, he could sign for a 64 or a 79 on each day but he clearly likes it here and is overpriced for the trade and the best bet, a top10.

There seems no point in over-analysing the Spaniard given his er, mercurial ways, but he has three top-10s in five most recent starts in Malaysia and after a -5 today, there is plenty to support a 3/1 quote.

I'll also take a chance with Siddikur Rahman, who finished nicely last week in Bangladesh. He is no Lahiri, granted, but at 8/1 for a top-10 he is worth the punt as conditions get harder and some of the better-known names fade.

Huge respect to the likes of Lahiri, Matteo, Westwood and my pre-event good thing (ahem) Jaidee, all of whom are capable of the scores needed to take down the top-2 and if the front pair stall these will all look huge but you can't back them all. There is a case for laying the front pair at around 4/6 and building a book as someone will almost certainly charge but for now, these seems the right plays.
