No pre-tournament plays.

Pre-rd3 play:

LAY 10pts liability

Matt Wallace 8.2  (11.0)  3rd
Wallce did win the Indian Open in March and he also won the Open de Portugal last year when leading after 36 holes, but he was five clear at the halfway stage before winning by three. This time, he may be the sole leader again, but his lead is only one shot and it is a very congested leaderboard - there are 48 players within six shots of the leader. Given that he has missed the cut in each of the last two weeks and the congestion on the leaderboard, I would make him a higher price at this stage.

Pre-rd4 plays:

LAY 10pts liability

Paul Dunne 11.5  (16.5)  7th
With 32 players within five shots of the lead, I would price Dunne higher given that he is two shots back and his ball-striking stats aren't great this week.
Alexander Levy 14.5  (27)  14th
Levy's odds are based on the fact that he is the defending champion rather than being in 12th place, three shots back. He won last week, so form is good, but it is a very tall ask mentally to win two weeks in a row.
Julien Guerrier 17  (18)  20th
Guerrier is closer in 3rd place, but his best finish on the European Tour is 3rd and he is another who ball-striking stats have been poor this week.
Jeunghun Wang 19  (27)  7th
And the same with Wang whose best finish on this course is 59th prior to this week. He is a former winner on this Tour, but is overpforming on this course this week.
Nacho Elvira 20  (29)  14th
Another whose ball-striking stats are poor and is winless on the European Tour, so I am happy to oppose with so many players in contention tomorrow.
Andrea Pavan 32  (34)  11th
Pavan's play has been better this week, but he is winless on this Tour and missed the cut in each of the last two weeks so doesn't look a likely candidate to emerge from the pack tomorrow.
Ashun Wu 55  (75)  7th
Wu has won twice on the European Tour previously, including this event in 2015, but his last victory in June 2016 was the last time that he has finished in the top-5 in any Tour event, so he warrants the higher odds from 12th place on the leaderboard.
Soomin Lee 65  (100)  14th
Lee is another former winner on the European Tour (2016 Shenzken International), but he has also failed to record a top-5 finish in any Tour event since mid-2016 so also warrants the higher odds from 12th place on the leaderboard.
Nino Bertasio 85  (95)  32nd
Bertasio is another in 12th place and with a best finish of 5th on the European Tour, there are more likely players to mount a challenge tomorrow.
