LAY 10pts liability

Shubhankar Sharma 3.0  (4.8)  7th
Sharma should win this and I would also price him as the favourite in this position, but it has been his putting that has saved him this week rather than his ball-striking and there is the fatigue effect from last week which clearly affected him in rd1. He failed to convert last week and while that may have some effect on him tomorrow, he will be under such as much pressure as he is the home player with expectations raised hugely after last week's performance. I would price him higher than this.
Andrew Johnston 11  (11)  2nd
Two shots back is Johnston who fell back today after an early eagle. It has been 18 months since he secured a top-5 finish so he faces some pressure tomorrow after all the hype around him of 2016 has largely disappeared.
Pablo Larrazabal 25  (27)  4th
Larrazabal has two top-5 finishes this year already and he has a chance for another this week, but he will need to drive much more accurately if he is to make up the three-shot gap to the leaders tomorrow.
Sihwan Kim 48  (60)  3rd
Kim is in the same leaderboard position as Larrazabal, but warrants the higher odds as he has yet to secure a top-5 finish on either the European Tour or Asian PGA Tour or win on any of the secondary Tours such as the European Challenge or Asian Development Tours.
Paul Peterson 55  (70)  23rd
A shot further back in 9th place is Peterson who won the Myanmar Open on the Asian PGA Tour earlier this year and he has won on the European Tour previously (2016 Czech Masters), but he is a shot further back in 9th place so I woul price him at higher odds
Aaron Rai 65  (100)  9th
Rai is in the same place, but a best finish of 7th in a European Tour event suggests that is not the player to break through from so far back and hold onto the lead tomorrow.
Joost Luiten 70  (120)  9th
Luiten is certainly capable of a charge and has won on the European Tour already this year (Oman Open), but he is a long way back in 12th place and I think these odds are too low given that position.
Hideto Tanihara  95  (300)  12th
Tanihara is alongside Luiten, but far less likely to make a charge tomorrow. He will need a low round just to match his best performance on the European Tour: 3rd, 2017 BMW PGA Championship
Ricardo Gouveia 90  (110)  16th
A shot closer is Gouveia and he also has a best finish of 3rd on the European Tour (2016 Nedbank Golf Challenge), but I just his odds of winning tomorrow higher than this.
