A double attack against Grillo and Sharma over a weekend at a course that will forgive nothing at all! The Argentinian is playing great golf at the moment with top10s over on the PGA but is only 2/16 when leading at halfway, admittedly often in better class. However, the memory of that collapse in the Africa Open in 2014 still sticks in the mind, opening his final round with a 9, whilst only a couple of weeks ago at the Honda he went from 3rd to 43rd during the weekend. Sharma is a different thought process. Very capable and more reliable thajn the leader at a course he loves and knows well his progress from 5-over to 7-under has been a measure of just how good this 21-year-old really is. Clearly unafraid of victory, he surely has to hit a wall soon. With being in contention last weekend in the high-profile WGC to obtaining his first Masters invitation, this will easily be the best of his three quick victories should he go on to prove victorious. However, there has to be enormous pressure on him and at at just 7-2 is worth taking on. Andrew 'Beef' Johnston said he looked ordinary next to Sharma today but that takes the shine off an otherwise brilliant 66. Winner of the Scottish Hydro amongst a host of ggod finishes on the Challenge Tour, that victory in Valderrama may be significant, with Luiten and Morrison also showimg up on both leaderboards and he enjoys the trickier tracks. Beef has always had a fun attitude to his game but the fruits of his labour and change in attitude after deciding to take himself more seriously seem to have worked. Top-10 in Abu Dhabi and 12th last timer in Oman, this looks a great oppertunity for a popular victory from just a handful behind. Jeunghun Wang is another with fond memories of the more tricky courses. Winner in Qatar, Morocco and Mauritius, he backs him his claim further with that runner-up in this event in 2016. He didn't play last year but he is another very progressive player who looks as if he has taken to the DLF course very well. The elder Molinari brother isn't quite getting the results his play deserves but his entire history dictates he is seen best in windy, undulating tracks. Whilst he is still tidy from tee-to-green it does seem as though the putter is failing a tad. However, he was a closing 11th here last year and has already had nine birdies this week, more than the likes of Wang and Morrsion ahead of him on the board. He was going well early on today before fading but his experience should do him good over the weekend and whilst he is currently 26th he is just three shots off a winning bet.
