Amateur Coletta has done well on the Australasian Tour over the last month or so, but missed the cut when there was an increase in the quality of the field for the Australian Open two weeks ago and this is again a much stronger field than in standard Australasian Tour events so it is difficult to see an amateur winning in a European Tour-sanctioned event
Davis turned professional ahead of the Queensland Open last month after winning the individual title at the World Amateur Teams Championship - that victory earned him a place in the OHL Classic where he finished 15th - so he is another with very good prospects, but missed the cut in the Australian Open and will take some time to settle at this level
Zunic won the Northern Territory PGA Championship on the Australasian Tour in August, but it has been his only top-15 finish in 17 Tour starts this year, so I think that he will also find it difficult to make an impression in this much-stronger event

There may be good reasons to expect Dodt to be caught today, but there are two other players two shots ahead of Senden as well as Adam Scott alongside him in 5th place and four shots off the pace. He has the experience to be expected to mount a challenge, but he has secured just one top-10 finish in the last 12 months. Even when he was in better form, he rarely won - as evidence by his eight top-10 finishes in this event, but no victories - so he can be opposed as a player to win when it has been a long time since he has been in this position.
