The European Challenge Tour moves on to Germany this week and to much more hospitable scoring conditions compared to the last stop. While possibly not quite as easy to go low as Morocco was players will definitely need to put together rounds in the 60's in order to win. For those who follow this tour the temptation will be to back either Heath who is a winner in the waiting or Higgins but I believe the value lies elsewhere.

K.Baraka 40/1 @ Skybet 2pts e.w.

Baraka is a class player and this play is as much about feel as anything else. He came into the spotlight when he played superbly for Austria in the World Cup at the end of last season and is definitely one to watch on the Iberian Peninsular where he revels in the conditons. However, he has played a lot of his golf in Germany and even won the German amateur chamionship and thus has many positive associations with the country. He has four Top 25's this season and three solid performances at this golf course the last three years and that should stand him in good stead.

D.Lucas 50/1 @ Skybet 1pt e.w.

Lucas is another player who has been simmering under the surface. He has four Top 25's this season and a 15th place at this course last year. His price is very good value and he like Baraka is just looking for a break through to allow him to kick on and there is a solid chance that break through will come this week.

A.Butterfield 50/1 @ Skybet 1pt e.w.

Butterfield is a player who I sense could actually make it on the European Tour and he has four Top 10's this year to back that up. He has made the cut three times like Baraka at this golf course in the previous three years and finished in the Top 50 each time. He will be looking for the big win to spur him on and the price is great.
