Scahill has shown good performances on the full tour over the years and these odds seem a shade too big for a player who has some solid recent form in Scotland and some good historical form in Scotland for that matter as well.

 

Steel is a very capable player on the Asian tour and would not be available at these odds on that tour. So this is a gamble on his form transferring to the very different conditions of Scotland. Fortunately he played in Europe last week to get himself more used to the greens on this tour and that may well allow him to pull off a shock.
