Marco Crespi -0.50 points each-way @ 80-1 (general)
Crespi was well backed for the Touir's last visit to Italy just a few weeks ago and whilst finishing a good third, can be backed at 80-1 this week. Consistency isn't his strong point but he pierces runs of missed-cuts with excellent efforts, already winning in Belgium before three weekends off and then that bronze medal. With plenty of form in his home country he may again have an advantage of some of the more fancied players
Robert Dinwiddie - 0.50 points each-way @ 80-1 (Skybet)
It surely cannot be long before Dinwiddie returns to the main Tour. His form back then reminded me of Danny Willett, in that he would alwatys seem to be able to put in a brilliant round only to follow it up with rubbish. This lower level affords him the chance to regain that sort of form, and there are signs over the last six efforts that he is getting there. 12th in Austria and 16th two weeks ago in Italy are good efforts and he does have a top-10 in Italy on the main Tour. His second round 68 came too late in Switzerland, but he shot four sub-70 rounds a fortnight ago, and is well overpriced for the talent he has. |
