Gary Stal - 1 point each-way @ 40-1 (Skybet)
A number of in-form players head the market, but the decision of Skybet to push Stal out from 33-1 tilts the 'valuemeter' in his favour. Chris Doak showed last week that being in form will eventually gain rewards and whilst the Frenchman has already been victorious twice this year, he has enough improvement in him to go in again. He will need a couple more half-decent finishes to be assured of his card for the main Tour in 2013 but it is surely only his lack of bite on 'Moving Day' that has stopped that assurance already. There is no suggestion that he lacks bottle. Indeed, his win from Keleka in Switzerland proved he could mix it and beat the best in this grade. Recent form reads well with a number of top-25s yet the feeling is that he left a few shots behind in the Rolex and definately stalled in home town Lyon when going from a promising position at halfway to 24th after Day 3.Stal shook that off to finish with a decent final round 69 but it was all too late. If he can prove just that more consistent as the players shuffle for position, he could prove to be just a bit overpriced when compared with non-winners at much shorter prices.
