Nick Dougherty - 0.5 points each-way @ 40-1 (Bet365 and Skybet)

There are no excuses for the downfall of Dougherty who looked like justifying the hype and becoming a regulat top ten player, but equally there is also no disguising the ability picked up by one Nick Faldo. Confirming he has now shed some mental baggage and is now enjoying golf having made it less of a priority, the soon-to-be-father is showing some real sings of form. Whilst light years away from his two top-class European wins, a couple of top-10s in his last three events suggest he may somehow get back with a full-time card. It is a slight concern that both were in the British Isles, but he is becoming very consistent and really shouldn't be 40-1 in this class given that 75% of his best form would win in any given week.

Mikko Korhonen - 0.5 points each-way @ 28-1 (Bet365 and Skybet)

In contrant to the first selection, the Finn could be said to be a touch short in the market but there are definate advantages to knowing a golf course, especially one as tricky and long as this one. That knowledge (he was once attatched to Kytaja) combined with a recent run of form that reads 7-13-16-36-15-14-4 gives him huge claims of notching up a podium place at least.

Marco Crespi - 0.5 points each-way @ 80-1 (Skybet)

Tipped last week, Crespi looked out of the game after round one shooting 80. However, he came back in super fashion with a 64/68/68 finish and that finish of 16th looks decent when combined with a win and third already this year. He is very streaky and can rack up the m/c's but any winner on Tour does not deserve to be as big as he is and you may just be able to nab the price at Skybet before the follow-on money from Bet365.
