Bjorn Akesson 0.75 points each-way @ 25-1 (Skybet) Some poor weekend rounds have cost the Swede dear in his first three efforts this year but that 3rd last time in Belgium may be a sign that this talented youngster is on the way up to a place on the main Tour. Five years ago, at just 18, he won the American Junior Golf Association title, an event in which previous winners Trevor Immelman, Stewart Cink and Tiger Woods have obviously used as a springboard. Played College golf in the States before turning professional last season and finishing 53rd in the rankings. Clearly a player with the game to win in this grade, he was nominated in the season-end 'Shot of the year' for an approach round this very course, when on the way to finishing 3rd. Keep his name in your notebook, it shouldn't be too long before he lands one. Mark Brown - 0.75 points each-way @ 50-1 (Skybet) This would be multiple winning Mark Brown, winner of the SAIL and Johnnie Walker events in Asia in just seven days? Shows just how form can drift away but whilst he has been plying away on the OneAsia Tour he also chucked in a runner-up in the New Zealand PGA following that up with a top-10 back 'home'. Has never played here but has gone 13/23/14 in Austrian events on the main Tour and that represents easily some of the best overall form this week.
Callum Macauley - 0.25 points each-way @ 80-1 (Skybet) See last weeks comments as he has done nothing since of note! Could be banging my head here, but I am convinced he is better than he is showing and once again, at 80-1, I'm happy to take a chance.
