Mark Tullo - 1 point each-way @ 25-1

The Chilean picks himself this week after a come-again 2nd in Russia last week. True, that third round 75 was typical of most of the Challenge Tour in that they do seem to struggle to get it home (bar the brilliant Broberg), but a recent run of five top-20s that includes three top-8 finishes looks excellent in what is regularly a field that is hard to read.

Tullo's form for the entire season is so consistent that he currently lies 12th in the race to the rewarding top-20 in the rankings, and he does look safe. Nevertheless, recent form counts for plenty and I'm not worried about a player whose best here is 21st but who has won twice in this grade in 2010, beating Manassero and a certain Rory McIlroy respectively.

No doubt that over the closing weeks of the season a regular pick will pop up at a silly price, so there is still a place for the likes of Parry and Macauley, but this may be a season of lessons and until the 'big one' in October we'll keep itat lowish stakes.
