Sihwan Kim - 0.5 points each-way @ 40-1 (Bet365) Very decent College player in the States and looks like moving through the grades in Europe. Comes into the event in decent form and led the St Omar after halfway after back-to-back birdies. It may be well worth forgiving that third round 81 but time will tell. Played well last week in Scotland and those efforts plus 11th in Madeira suggests that he is far more than just a long driver. Top-20 earlier in the year in Sicily he can make his mark round this new course for the Tour.
Daniel Brooks - 0.5 points each-way @ 40-1 (Bet365) Traditionally a slow starter who can keep his form when he finds it, Brooks comes here with form reading 4/15/2/13 and if he can keep that going he is a runner here, amongst some better known players that are struggling to finish off decent in-running positions. Says that he feels good about his game and that whatever was missing has now arrived! Golf is his life, even when not playing, which may be dull for your average Joe, but is just what a punter wants to hear.
Charlie Ford - 0.25 points each-way @ 55-1 (Bet365) Forgive last weekend and Ford comes here at no bigger than 40-1. Winner in Turkey on only his second pro start he is another with form on mainland Europe - 16/6/4 in Madeira, Spain and France, all of which suggest he is a thinking player, something that may be needed here. Form in Italy isn't stunning but he has made the cut in all six starts and a positive attitude is always helpful in this grade.
