Lucas Bjerregaard - 0.75 points each-way @ 66-1 (General) Jens Fahbring - 0.50 points each-way @ 80-1 (General)
Both players have form on the Nordic/ECCO satellite tours and were inspired by the return there last weekend in Finland. Bjerregaard couldn't quite get going early enough but finished fast over the weekend and that consistent performance earned him a decent 11th. Winner twice in the 2012 season, he also won a minor ECCO event in Spain earlier this year and is a winner-in-waiting on the Challenge Tour. Given the previous consistent form that shows from week-to-week on this mini-tour of Scandinavia (Broberg won both last season for example), Bjerregaard can continue to improve and whilst the 125-1 of last week is a pipedream, there is enough there to justify a quote of 66s.
Swede Fahbring was 3rd last week and is another to have won on the Nordic Tour at the Mediter Real Estate in March 2012. Eleven further top-10s are testament to his consistency and now he has found form on the league above, can start showing the same game week on week. The final round 72 disguises the excellent 65/69/66 of the opening three rounds in Finland, but he already has a T5 in a minor event in his home country in April, and of course, many Swedes will have been inspired by the exploits of last years champion. There is no reason to think that the Nordic connection is spurious and he is well worth backing at the general 80-1.
A few were of interest, and amongst those, Dylan Frittelli returns to the price from which he finished 1/T4 over the last month. This does under-estimate his ability but he was poor in last weeks' missed-cut and is reluctantly left out, even if having the talent to win at least once a month.
