Jens Fahbring - 0.75 points each-way @ 100-1 (Bet365)

A new course in a new country that has never held an event is a nightmare and whilst in-form Andrew Johnston is the man to beat, the lack of Jake Roos and Moritz Lampert does tone down any excitement one may have had, with both now going for their third win this year and thus automatic promotion to the big time.

There is a possible link with the Czech event that took place at the beginning of June, organised by the same promotors and if that is the case, then the likes of Bouniol, Coupland, Coles, Espana, Fritsch, Gaunt, Kennedy and winner Thomas Linard muct all have a chance. However, they have not bene overlooked by the oddsmakers and look rediculously short. Espana at 25s, Fritsch at 14s, Kennedy at 33s, all just too short for their win records.

Instead, look outside of those and proven winner Jens Fahbring fits the bill. Very consistent on his home Nordic Tour, he relished the return to his 'home' last season ranking 3rd in the Swiss before winning in Norway with an excellent 62/66 finish and landing a 80-1 winner for this column. That was after a fairly slow start to the season, but around late July he burst into life with a 20th in France before those two excellent efforts back-to-back. Working on the theory that he is streaky and should be backed when coming to form, that 6th in Germany last week may well spark him into another mini run. It cannot be coincidence that his best three events of 2013 are coming up over the next month and he is worth backing at a big price to time his effort right now that he has that first top-10 of the year.
