Has some excellent form around Wentworth, he won this event last year and is also in excellent current form by winning his latest Seniors start. He's partly at 10/1 due to the crazy price for Romero.

Boyd has just turned 50 and has played 2 events on the EST so far; finishing ninth first time out and then shooting two rounds of 67 in switzerland last week to finish 31st, the only disappointment being a second round score of 77. So a decent performance last week which certailny doesn't explain why last week Boyd was joint second favourite and this week he is 100/1!!!

David Good         0.25 pts e.w. @ 100/1 Stan James/Bet365      (Total Stake: 0.5pt)

Couldn't resist adding Good to the list of value plays based on his previous Wentworth form. In the last 5 years his record reads 10th-19th-3rd-14th-7th. This season hes been consistent without troubling the leaders, but if he makes the same level of improvement back at Wentworth that he usually does then this is a big price.

Martin Poxon       0.25 pts e.w. @ 150/1 Stan James                  (Total Stake: 0.5pt)

We played Poxon a couple of times when joined the tour in June. His form has dipped recently but last week he put in a decent performance with his last two rounds both being in the 60's. Also his performance in the Senior Open was also encouraging if you discont the first round 81 which was played in the worst of the weather. He is certainly not playing like a rank outsider at 150/1.

Put in another decent performance last week when we put him up as one of our selections to finish 12th. It was only a disappointing second round of 72 that put paid to his chances. Also he has some decent form at Wentworth, finishing 5th in this event last year. He's got to be included again after another encouraging performance and we are now getting double the price we got last week.
