Using the "spread free offer" for placing four bets at once we have a good set of FP sells with a known downside of under 9 pts on every trade with one big performance from any of the four likely to cover any bad weeks from others.

Price is a player with a good Open record, winning 10 years ago 30 miles down the Ayrshire coast at Turnberry and covering this quote in each of the last 3 years. Choi has a weaker record, with last years 22nd easily his best attempt in four but he is a steady player who possibly in time will have an Open record worthy of praise. Perry finished 8th last year, which surprised me as I didn't think he was adaptable to our game. He proved he was and could easily come into the reckoning again. Finally, Appleby, personally i will be backing him outright so it seems sensible to make him the spread free price. I have wanted to take him for this all year but recently he has done nothing to give the confidence that he showed early in the season. Therefore, his top 10 placing at the Western Open two weeks ago ensured he would be my big bet for this year. Previously he has a record of three top 15's in four starts including a play off defeat against Els in 02.

 

Summary: Disappointing end to Price's round in particular but we can't turn down the result we had. Perry and Choi were consistently around their end position without ever worrying us or the leaders.
