Dredge has finished in the Top 20 here for the last 3 years and another prominent showing looks on the cards. One possible minus to his chance is that this his first start of the year so rustiness may be a problem but that is more than compensated by in his price. He struggles for accuracy off the tee and hitting GIR, but if that part of his game improves his putting can certainly make him a contender this week.

Lawrie has finished in the Top 20 here for the last 2 years and this year has started in fair form with a Top 5 finish in Singapore followed by a 13th place in New Zealand and 28th in Malaysia. Ranked 25th for putts GIR last year. Should not be trading in the 100+ range.

Fraser graduated from the Challenge Tour in 2003 and had a satisfactory opening season where he comfortably retained his card in 51st on the order of merit. Last year he was 24th here, and already this year he has had 3 Top 25 finishes from 4 starts. A massive price in comparison to the bookmakers, for a player in reasonable form who is effective around here albeit on limited evidence.
