Summary: Bets 4, Wins 1, Losses 3. Loss 9.62 Pts. Disappointing to lose on the Kjeldsen match twice as he was level on the last in R1 and 3 ahead after 7 holes in R2. Remesy won well in R2 to lower the loss but hopefully we will cover this in the Buick.

No real value in the FP's, but a fair bit of value in this match-up between a player who has posted three Top 25's in his last four visits against a man who has never been here and his form at the end of the year in his local tour was very poor. In December, Ruangkit missed two cuts and was 30th in the Asian masters. He hasn't played since whereas Remesy got the cobwebs off last week finishing 38th in the other desert event.

Sporting give you a choice bet on these two which is strange because Kjeldsen comes off of a 24^th place in Abu Dhabi compared to Lawrie’s MC and their course form sees Kjeldsen have a 2^nd and 7^th amongst many visits here whilst Peter’s best effort is a 36^th in three visits

I can see no reason not to play both of these matches again even although they both lost. Remesy especially shouldn't go from a 5 buy to a "choice" price based purely on one round of golf. It was a very disappointing day though with Ruangkit playing impressively and Kjeldsen somehow conjuring up a 6 on his par 5 last hole to lose by one.
