Bradley Dredge to win 20/1 e.w. @ Paddy Power, BetInternet and Boyle Sports [6 places]  mc
Lost his chance for victory last week when starting the back nine on Sunday with three bogeys in four holes, but should have drawn some confidence from a very strong finish: he was the only player all week to birdie the last three holes. And but for some foul weather, he may have been the defending champion this week. He was four shots clear in the third round when the wintry conditions arrived - freezing temperatures, high winds and rain - and so dropped five shots in the last six holes to fall out of the lead that he had held since the first round. He have shown that he could master the Smurfit Course and looks well set to do so again this year.

Peter Hanson to finish in the top-five 10/1 @ Expekt  3rd
Hanson is another with a very good record in this country with finishes of 4th, 9th (on this course) and 7th in his last three visits. In the Irish Open last month, he had even been the first round leader after an opening 68 and he has maintained that good form in recent weeks: he finished 30th in the U.S. Open, 11th in the BMW International Open and was 2nd in the qualifier for the Open Championship at Sunningdale on Monday. In this form, he should have another very high finish in Ireland this week.

Martin Kaymer to win 66/1 e.w. @ Ladbrokes, ToteSport and Coral  mc
Maybe a place-only wager on Kaymer would be prudent, but he is getting closer to that maiden win on this Tour. His form since the Tour returned to Europe has been excellent, but he finished 14th having held the lead with one round to play in the Celtic Manor Wales Open last month and finished 7th having been in 3rd place with one round to play last week in the Open de France. He will win on this Tour as he has done on previous Tours and so remains value at these odds.

Paul Broadhurst to win 100/1 e.w. @ Boyle Sports [6 places]  25th
It is only a month ago that Broadhurst was challenging for the title in the BMW PGA Championship (he held the lead with one round to play) and Celtic Manor Wales Open (he finished 8th having held the lead during the week) and more recently had been 3rd after the opening round of the BMW International Open, so this is quite a lengthening of his odds over the last month. With a course history that contains a top-10 finish (and having been 1st round leader) in 2004, I'd say there is value in these odds particularly with the extra place on offer.
