Sometimes the blindingly obvious is the way to go and in Eduardo we have that. He has one of the best records here and while 50/1 is not giving anything away, I still think he is assured of a good run. Six top tens in his last 12 starts, and good form on the seniors tour is enough to tempt me in.

Nobody tries harder than Niclas and he must be frustrated at trying to get his swing under control at this late stage of the season. However a Top 20 finish last time in Sweden was encouraging and it is only a matter of time before everything clicks into place.

Another player with a fiery temperament is Marcel Siem, and he is a very streaky player too. A 5th place at Gleneagles indicates that he is ready to contend here, especially with a couple of good finishes at Crans.
