Singh finished 2008 with 4 wins including 2 in his last 4 events. He beat a top class field in the Singapore Open and goes into 2009 comfortably inside the worlds top 50.  Given his recent level of performance the 60/1 looks generous.

Molinari lost in a playoff in Hong Kong on his last appearance of 2008. That was his 6^th top 5 finish of 2008. An excellent ball striker who ranks highly in Driving Accuracy and GIR .  I would look for him to contend if he has a decent week on the greens.

1pt top 10 Peter Lawrie 16/1 Tote

Lawrie began last season with a decent 17th place finish in Abu Dhabi and later went on to win the Open De Espana. His last outing was a creditable 11th in the HSBC Champions event and the 16/1 on offer is a price that appeals in this market.
