9-5; +3.93pts

Round 1 plays (1pt):

Martin Kaymer to beat John Daly -180 @ Pinnacle  WON by 1
It would be great to see Daly repeating his form of the Italian Open, but I just don't see it around the demanding tree-lined West Course at Wentworth. Even if he did play well, he would struggle to beat the #25 in the World Rankings who was only one of two players to shoot every round under par last year.

Luke Donald to beat Jeev Milkha Singh -136 @ Pinnacle  WON by 2
Back to form and with a course history that reads 18th, 25th, 7th and 3rd, Donald looks set for a much better week than Singh who has missed the cut in three of his last four visits to Wentworth.

Paul Casey to beat Retief Goosen -110 @ The Greek  [also available @ William Hill and Paddy Power]  WON by 2
A top-3 finish would lift Casy into the 3rd place in the World Rankings. Goosen's form is certainly improving this year, but has been a long time since he looked like a top-3 player. He has finished ahead of Casey just once in the last nine months, so is unlikely to do so this week.

Paul Casey to beat Ernie Els -120 @ Pinnacle  WON by 4
Opposing another former great who is struggling to get back his former game. Els helped redesign this course in 2006 but he has been pregressively worse every year in this event since. As with the Goosen play, Casey dominates the head-to-head stats and with his record in this event and the World Matchplay event here in October, he should be a much stronger favourite.

Anthony Wall to beat David Horsey -110 @ The Greek  [also available @ William Hill]  TIED
Horsey has finished ahead of Wall just twice in his career, so when he is making his course debut and playing against a player who has four top-10 finishes in eight 'home' events on the European Tour this year, he may well struggle to finish of him again this week.
