Every chance Mcdowell will be 1-up after this morning's 4-ball after Furyk's omission from the opening bout. Given that Mcdowell's coming into the event fresh off an extended break I'd be surprised if Montgomerie doesn't play him in all 5 matches as well, giving him every chance chance of outscoring Furyk who could be forgiven for feeling somewhat fatigued after last weekend's exertions.
