3-0; +8.00pts  (system plays: 2-5-2)

Round 1 play (4pts):

Daniel Gaunt to beat Jason Barnes -125 @ 5Dimes  WON by 4
Gaunt may have struggled for form in recent weeks, but he was 15th in the Open de France two months ago and he was so impressive on the Challenge Tour last year - a win and six top-10 finishes in 11 starts. He should have more than enough quality to finish ahead of 27-year-old Barnes who plays on the Alps Tour and has played only one European and one European Challenge Tour events so far.

[unofficial rd1 system plays: Lewis tb Fleetwood -111 (L); Daly tb Dougherty +120 (W)]

Round 2 play (4pts):

Daniel Gaunt to beat Jason Barnes -125 @ 5Dimes  TIED
Gaunt played well and finished the day in 2nd place. He did play well from positions like this on the Challenge Tour last year, so I don't expect him to bounce back with a poor round tomorrow; that appears more likely with Barnes who ended the 1st round in an unlikely 14th place.

[unofficial rd2 system plays: Wattel tb Forsyth +100 (L); Orr tb Ferrie +100 (L)]

Round 3 play (2pts):

Lloyd Saltman to beat Jason Barnes -125 @ 5Dimes  WON by 5
Continuing to oppose Barnes who made just one birdie today as he slipped from 14th to 29th place. Saltman has now made the cut in seven of his last eight European Tour events and that is two levels above Barnes' own Tour. He should have more than enough quality to beat the Alps Tour player.

[unofficial rd3 system plays: Nilsson tb Wakefield -111 (T); Gaunt tb Canonica -135 (W)]

Round 4 play (2pts):

Joost Luiten to beat Victor Dubuisson -139 @ Bet365 [available generally]  WON by 2

[unofficial rd4 system plays: Benson tb Barnes -145 (L); Nilsson tb Wakefield -111 (L)]
