The South African beat Colsaerts by 19 shots last year and comes into the event with confidence high after his breakthrough win on the European Tour in the Spanish Open. Colsaerts too has finally broken his duck on tour but is likely to be jaded after his exertions in the matchplay last week and is readily opposed.

Looking at the weather forecast those with early/late tee off times in rounds 1 and 2 respectively may well have a significant advantage. Mcdowell is out early in R1 and with the wind likely to be a factor over all four days there are few players better equipped to cope with such conditions. Kaymer on the other hand has been tinkering with his swing and has recently parted with his long-term caddie. At odds against GMac represents excellent value.
