Sterne has a 2-2 record with Wiegele over 12 months and a 1-1 record with Ramsay and although that is a small sample it doesn't suggest Sterne as a 5 pt favourite over Wiegele who has long term scoring stats not much worse than Sterne. Long and short term stats also suggest Ramsay is a player going in a different career direction than Sterne and should be 1.5ch at worst. Sell Peter Hanson over Paul Lawrie at 7 (0.25 Pts) M/U 25, Loss 4.75 Pts Hanson is without doubt a far better player than Lawrie but 7 is an over estimation of this given that last week, Lawrie finished 8 shots clear. My one worry though is that Hanson is the quicker starter, in 13 matches in a year, Lawrie has finished in front 4 times but only won 2 R1 matches, hence the decision to stake the minimum amount. Sell Tiger Woods over Martin Kaymer at 0 (0.5 Pts) M/U -16, Profit 8 Pts There are so many reasons you can think of to suggest this price is wrong, and that Kaymer should be favourite. Even course form where Woods has two wins and has never been out of the Top 5, well Kaymer has never either in 4 starts, just that he hasn't won yet. There is a fair chance he will this week. Sell John Parry over Fabrizio Zanotti at 4 (0.5 Pts) M/U 0, Profit 2 Pts Parry leads 11-10 in matchups over 12 months suggesting this price is far too high. 2-3-0 -3.25 Pts |
