2-2; -2.20pts (system plays: 8-4-1) Round 1 play (4pts): Gary Boyd to beat Lorenzo Gagli -105 @ 5Dimes LOST by 5 Gagli has been impressive over the past month or so, particularly from tee-to-green, but it remains to be seen how the brutal conditions last Sunday when he shot 81 will have affected his game. His form has meant that the value is in opposing him and I will do so with Gary Boyd at these odds. He finished 2nd in the Italian Open last month and played well last time out in the Open Championship, so confidence will be high in his game and he avoided last week's weather-affected play. He did play here last year and could set a decent score in the morning that Gagli may struggle to match in the normally tougher afternoon conditions. [unofficial rd1 system plays: Fisher R tb Dyson -111 (W); Finch tb Jamieson -111 (W); Ramsay tb Jamieson -110 (W)] Round 2 play (4pts): Jeev Milkha Singh to beat Richie Ramsay +100 @ Paddy Power LOST by 1 Was hoping for better odds, but I'll still back Singh at plus odds in the second round. He played in the tougher afternoon conditions and make six birdies and an eagle to take a two-shot lead into the second round. After last season was severely affected by injury, he has been playing much better this year and finished 6th last week. He has shown in the past that he can defend a lead well, such as his wire-to-wire victory in the Austrian Open three years ago, so I don't foresee a second round bounceback. [unofficial rd2 system play: Dredge tb Whiteford +100 (L)] Round 3 play (2pts): Stephen Gallacher to beat Michael Hoey -110 @ 5Dimes WON by 4 [unofficial rd3 system plays: Parry tb Morrison +105 (W); Wattel tb Olesen -105 (L); Nilsson tb Gagli +110 (L); Wiesberger tb Cutler -120 (T); Siem tb Garrido +110 (L); Gallacher tb Ramsay +110 (W); Boyd tb Gagli -105 (W); Lane tb Del Moral +105 (W)] Round 4 play (4pts): Stephen Gallacher tb Marcel Siem -125 @ Stan James WON by 5 [unofficial rd4 system play: Del Moral tb Lane -110 (W)]
