He is progressing well and returns to Europe after contending at the US open. He has shown a number of times he can play well in the tough conditions that are forecast this week. Siem is another that has been in great form this year with 4 top 7 finishes and almost got himself into a playoff last week in his home tournament by playing a superb back 9 in really tough conditions. The pressure will be off him this week and he could well contend once more. Molinari won last month and continues to perform at a high level in Europe. Both he and Colsearts are very much in contention for a Ryder cup spot and will see this as a good opportunity to gain some valuable points.
