Benson won his last event - the Kenya Open on the Challenge Tour - but that was six weeks ago and, not only does he not have any experience on this quirky course, he is 2-for-2 in missed cuts in Portugal. Coles's form has not been particularly consistent, though he did finish 3rd in the Trophee Hassan II, so it is mainly the course form on which he gets the nod here: he has been a regular starter in this event, particularly when this course was used up to 2008. For a course set on the side of a mountain, that course experience should be very important.
