GREGORY BOURDY TO BEAT ROSS FISHER - 6 PTS @ 10-11 (LADBROKES/BOYLE)
I am struggling to see a downside with this bet. Bourdy has been very accurate in all his recent starts, something that will help here and even his couple of missed-cuts have not been 'wild'. Between those, he has been steady with finishes of 16th/11th/47th and 21st, whilst last weeks mc at Wentworth was no surprise given he hates the place. Here, his run of cuts made has led to finishes of 21/10/39/2 and he will be very ripe for this challenge on a course where he has been over par just once in sixteen recent rounds.
Compare that with Ross, who has looked completely out of sorts for a while now and doesn't seem to be able to kick-on even when having a slither of hope, just that 7th in the Ballentines amongst a host of missed cuts. His accuracy is shot to pieces which will be a disaster round here, a track where he has shot 76 and 79 and missed the weekend over the last two years. That 10th place way back was by a player in form so is ignored and this simply isn't his place. It is hard to see why they call this an each-of-two. |
