3-2; +2.10pts (system plays: 0-1-0) Round 1 plays (2pts): Peter Whiteford to beat Jason Timmis -120 @ 5Dimes WON by 7 Strange matchup. Whiteford finished 2nd in the Ballantine's Championship in the last European Tour event and had a top-25 finish on his last visit to this course; Timmis has played in just four Challenge Tour events, missed the cut in three and finished 56th in the other and has earned zero OWGR points to lie over 1300 places behind Whiteford in the World Rankings. Peter Whiteford to beat Eddie Pepperell -110 @ William Hill WON by 7 Pepperell should be more of a test to Whiteford - he did finish 8th in the Open de Espana - but course experience is vital on this quirky course so I'll back the Scot for a second time. No round 2 plays. No round 3 plays. Round 4 plays (2pts): Rikard Karlberg to beat Peter Uihlein +120 @ Paddy Power LOST by 10 Opposing Uihlein who starts the final round in 2nd place. It is just the second time that he has started the final round of a European Tour in the top-5, but on that occasion (2013 Open de Espana) he shot 73 in the final round. In fact, he failed to break 70 on the five occasions that he started the final round in the top-5 on the Challenge Tour. Karlberg is much better in this position as a multiple-winner on the Asian PGA Tour. Roope Kakko to beat Morten Orum Madsen +110 @ Paddy Power LOST by 1 It is the same situation with Madsen - this is the first time that he has started the final round inside the top-5 on the European Tour, but in the three times that he has been in this situation on the Challenge Tour, he failed to break 70 in the final round. Kakko has the experience on the main Tour to maintain his top-10 position. Tim Sluiter to beat Lloyd Saltman +105 @ 5Dimes WON by 5 Saltman has been falling down the leaderboard since he led the event after his opening 64. Saltman has finished ahead of Sluiter just once in their last six common events so, along with their trajectories this week, the value should be with the underdog.
