It has been a good season for Dredge given that he was away from the Tour for ten months with injury and illness - he has missed just one cut in his ten events since his return, but four of those events have been on the Challenge Tour. Lewis has similarly also missed just one cut in his last ten starts, but that missed cut was in the U.S. Open and the cuts made have all been on the main European Tour. Dredge may do enough to retain his Tour Card for next season, but he is still not at the same level as Lewis who also has a significant advantage over him given his length off the tee on this very long course.
