A cracking European Tour event but finding value in the 72 hole matches hasn't been easy. Ross Fisher v Romain Wattel is a matchup between two underachievers in my opinion, but at 5/6 each of two, there is definitely a case for backing local boy Fisher. The Englishman leads the 3-year head-to-head stats and knows every blade of grass at Wentworth, a course I have always viewed as a specialist track. Wattel has all the ability in the world, so three missed cuts from 4 outings here is hard to fathom, so the 5/6 dnb Fisher appeals.
