1-0; +2.10pts (system plays: 7-1-0) Round 1 play (2pts): Marcel Siem to beat Emiliano Grillo +105 @ SkyBet WON by 6 Siem was a wire-to-wire winner here two year ago and can earn a place at The Masters with another victory this week - he ranks 68th in the World and victory would lift him into the top-50 ahead of Monday's deadline. He has shown enough form recently to suggest that he can do this - he won the BMW Masters in November against a much stronger field and was in contention at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am recently. He looks to have the edge over Grillo, the no. 100 in the World Rankings, who finished 12 shots behind Siem in his only previous appearance in this event. [unofficial rd1 system plays: Levy tb Sullivan +100 (W); Green tb Pepperell -106 (W); Green tb An -110 (W); Siem tb Levy -115 (W)] Round 2 play (2pts): Gregory Bourdy to beat David Horsey +138 @ SkyBet TIED Horsey has a great record in this event, including a win in 2011, but these still looks very good odds to oppose him with a player in great form. Bourdy has four top-15 finishes in his last six starts, plus he also has two top-20 finishes in this event. Bourdy did not have a great 1st round, but in this form he should be very capable of bouncing back in rd2. Round 3 play (2pts): Jaco Van Zyl to beat Kevin Phelan -127 @ Pinnacle TIED Backing Van Zyl who is in such a good run of form - in the last five weeks, he has finished 3rd, 2nd, 6th, 15th and 2nd. He is already in the top-10 and clearly looks very capable of staying there for the next two rounds. [unofficial rd3 system plays: Larrazabal tb Bland -125 (L); Larrazabal tb Cabrera-Bello -120 (W); Wattel tb Santos -125 (W); Saddier tb Schneider -175 (W)] No round 4 plays.
