Head-to-head records would have you firmly leaning towards Romain Wattel in FiveDimes' match up against Robert Rock, but there are several reasons to side with the Staffordshire man this week. Firstly his price, 6/5 dnb is very appealing when you consider Rock arrives here in easily the better shape of the two, Three top 20 finishes in his last four starts against Wattel's record of four missed cuts in his last seven starts, his seventh-placed finish in India a stand-out effort. Wattel's woeful course form is another negative, three missed cuts from four attempts whereas Rock's all-round ranking last year was far superior to his eventual 33rd position. I actually make Rock favourite so he has to be the main bet of the week.

As you may have eluded to, I am keen to be against Wattel this week, so I will fire another arrow and play compatriot Julien Quesne at a slightly-more restrictive 5/6 dnb with skybet. Quesne arrives here on the back of a missed cut, but there were far more signs of life when eighth in the African Open prior to that, and he stepped up on his course debut when ninth here in 2013
