With no relevant course form to go on and the potential for a draw bias given the conditions, stakes should be kept sensible this week, but I think there's a bit of value in siding with Danny Willett over compatriot Chris Wood given he's been chalked up as the outsider. Sure it was hard not to be impressed with Wood's performance at Wentworth (backed up by the all-round stats) and he's shown a clear aptitude for Links golf in the past, but Willett is more than capable of competing at any venue in the world nowadays, and but for Wentworth, surely Danny would be a 4/6 or 8/13 shot for this match. Instead we can get 9/10 for a man with an 18-12 12-month head-to-head record with Paddy Power.
6 pts Danny Willett to beat Chris Wood at 9/10 (dnb) with Paddy Power
