7-0; +1.43pts

Pre-tournament plays:

LAY 20pts liability

Jin-Ho Choi 150  67th
Jason Scrivener 140  44th
Miguel Tabuena 250  mc
Dean Burmester 60  mc
Pachara Khongwatmai 290  mc
Ricardo Gouveia 160  dq
Jeung-Hun Wang 38  mc
This is Choi's 7th start in a European Tour-sanctioned event and he is yet to secure a top-20 finish, so he looks a player to oppose in his first Tour event in three months
Scrivener is much more experienced and ranks inside the top-250 in the World Rankings, but he is yet to win a Tour event and it has been two months since his last top-50 finish
It has also been two months since Tabuena's last top-50 finish and with a record that reads three missed cuts in three previous events in China, he is another to oppose this week
Burmeister has been playing well in South Africa this year, but he has never played in China previously and he has yet to win a Tour event even in South Africa so these odds are too low
Khongwatmai has missed the cut in both his previous European Tour-sanctioned events and those were in his home country; he has virtually no chance in a European Tour event and in his first event in China
Gouveia's pedigree is much stronger - he ranks inside the top-100 in the World Rankings - but that was based on strong performances on the Challenge Tour - he has missed four of his last six cuts since progressing to the main European Tour
Wang is one of the leading players on the Asian PGA Tour - he finished inside the top-10 on the Asian PGA Tour Order of Merit last year and is again inside the top-10 this season - however, he has yet to win a Tour event, so these are very short odds for a player who is unproven in the final round
