6-0; +1.36pts

Pre-tournament plays:

LAY 20pts liability

Thorbjorn Olesen 90  19th
Anthony Wall 120  mc
David Horsey 140  mc
Ricardo Gouveia 150  38th
Kristoffer Broberg 140  66th
Thomas Pieters 38  26th
A lot of players in this field will be rusty, but it is still over two months since Olesen made a cut and with no course experience, he is one to oppose this week
Wall does have course experience which is usually very helpful around this tight, traditional course, but he has played just three times in the last 12 weeks, finishing mc-40th-mc so shouldn't have the form to make his course experience count
Horsey also has course experience, but he finished ahead of only six players when shooting 83-74 in the 2011 Andalucia Masters and given that this will be his first event since a knee operation, he may well repeat his previous form here
Gouveia had a good season on the Challenge Tour last year, but he has no course experience and has made only one cut since the end of January
Broberg is a player with a lot of talent and won the BMW Masters last year, but he is struggling with his ball-striking - 129th in Dirving Distance, 128th in Driving Accuracy, 152nd in Grren in Regulation on the European Tour this season - and that is not a recipe for success around Valderrama
Pieters is a much more-fancied player, but the big-hitting Belgian's game should be poorly suited to this tight, traditional course so I would price him at higher odds than this
