5-2; -0.11pts

Pre-tournament plays:

BACK 1pt

Miguel Angel Jimenez 340  mc
Thomas Bjorn 200  mc
A big price for the Spaniard who won on the Champions Tour last month, while finishes of 13th and 21st in his two European Tour starts over the last month suggest that he is still competitive on this Tour
It has been ten years since Bjorn won the Irish Open so he is another senior selection, but 19th in the Open de Espana last month (inside the top-10 after three rounds) suggests that he is also still competitive on this Tour despite his back problems earlier this season

LAY 20pts liability

Thomas Pieters 70  mc
Andy Sullivan 55  mc
Jeung-Hun Wang 80  mc
Thorbjorn Olesen 55  10th
Joost Luiten 34  mc
Pieters has only played once since the Dell Matchplay - the Open de Espana when he failed to record a sub-par round that week - so rustiness should make this price rather low despite his two wins in 2015
Sullivan is another multiple-event winner on the European Tour that doesn't have the form to justify his price - he missed the cut by eight shots last week at Sawgrass and the last time that he shot a sub-70 round was over three months ago
Wang, on the other hand, does have form on his side having won the last two European Tour events, but it has been 30 years since Seve Ballesteros was the last player to win three events in a row and Wang is certainly net in that class and, to be honest, his wins ahve come in event that are not in the same class as this event
And another multiple-event winner on this Tour - Olesen has shown some form in recent weeks, but has never really threatened to get into contention and his Tour stats suggest why he would continue to fall short: he ranks 130th in driving accuracy, 118th in dirving distance and 138th in greens in regulation on the European Tour
Luiten last win was back in 2014, but that was the last time that he started the final round inside the top-10 and improved his position 18 holes later; for someone to falls back when in contention these odds are too short.
