Rikrad Karlberg 1.5 points e/w @ 25-1 (PP) Although driving distance isn't the be-all-and-end-all round here, it does help and with current leader Matt Fitzpatricxk ranking outside the top-100 in that regrad, he may get over-powered by someone with a shorter approach shot here and there. It was tough but there is a series of non-winners up there and most convincing case is set by Rikard Karlberg, home player in tremndous form and a superb internet blogger who will thrive on the support throughtout the weekend. He comes here after an excellent top-10 in the Irish (often a pointer towards this event) and a runner-up at last week's BMW at Wentworth, but crucially his best rounds were the Sunday efforts. Indeed, his last four Payday outings have seen a worst score of 67. With home support plus positive mindset, he must go close from here
