It's hard to argue with Mickelson's Castle Stuart record, tasting success the last time it was staged here in 2013 and he clearly has the weapons to win again if putting himself in contention, but as ever with Lefty, he isn't the most appealing 72-match bet proposition as top 20s/30s don't really inteerest him when he can hone his game for next week instead. With that in mind, course debutant and compatriot Patrick Reed is a viable bet at odds against, especially as he needs to be on his game to give him a confidence boost going into Troon after what has been a disappointing season so far.
5 pts Patrick Reed to beat Phil Mickelson at 21/20 with B365. (or 6/5 if you can get on with 888). W (+5.25pts) |
