Thorbjorn Oleson - 1 point e/w @ 20-1 1/4 1234 With delays caused by torrential rain, this will be target practice over the weekend. Long hitters that can attack pins and putt on softish greens will contend come the stretch and it's hard to oppose defending champion Levy, with the exact required skills needed for this test. He is maturing by the season and it's only the 6-1 price that puts me off. Jordan Smith, one I've followed for many years, will also enjoy the event but he has never been at his best when it is raining so I prefer to look elsewhere and the Dane fits the bill. Oleson, by his nature, is tough to read but he turns up regularly enough to keep him in the top 60 or 70 in the rankings. Winner of 4 at this level the conditions will suit his 'go-for-it' attitude. Ignore recent form as that means nothing when assessing him and his chance of winning, He has the length off the tee and has already had 12 birdies this week. His second round contained six birdies but four gogies so he will jus have to tidy up, but I feel he will improve on last year's 72/75 finish and put himself in with a chance come Sunday. History, however short, suggests you need to be up with the pace come Payday, but this could turn into a 'crap-shoot' so within 3 will be fine. I can see this turning into a Sunday whereby someone shoots 62/63 to nab it early and at 20-1, the proven Dane looks just about the best bet on that card.
