SOREN KJELDSEN 1 point ew 40/1 I managed to get a bit on at 45/1 but offers of 33/1 seem much neater the mark for this proven Links player. Pointless going through his whole history but finishes in top class events such as The Open, Scottish Open, Dunhill Links, all point to man that loves this type of test. Whilst this week hasn't had typical Links conditions- wind and rain- the Dane has recorded some excellent figures although you wouldn't know it looking at his front 9 of +1. Instead view the impressive back 9 figures showing a total of 9 under with no dropped shots. I think we are relying on a bit of wind to help slow the true birdie machines down but the top lot, although impressive so far and ones for the future, are very opposable given their lack of proven winning form at this grade. Kjeldsen will be tidy enough to knock up a score for sure, and as a winner of this event in 2015 will lack nothing in mental strength should he be in contention on Sunday. Those on the promising Ryan Fox at three figures have a great price given his ability in wind and tough conditions and he is bound to win soon enough, he's just not appealing at the current price though I can see the likes of Jamie Donaldson and Tommy Fleetwood making significant headway in favourable conditions. All in all, evidence points to a decent run from the diminutive Dane. If he doesn't win, perhaps he can do a Fleetwood and win the week after!
