There was a period when he was caught up in the media hype but he dedicated himself to his game during the close season and it has showed. Already with three top-12 finishes this year, it would help if this turmed into more of a test rather than a birdie-fest as he showed when runner-up at the tough Indian Open but there is talk of more wind on Sunday and if anywhere within striking distance, he should go close. Playing with two local heroes in Rahm and Cabrera-Bello will have suited his extrovert personality, as it did playing with Larrazabal through the third round in Valderamma in 2016 but it's time now for business and he can repeat the dose away from the mania, in the process defeating that same player and local superstar John Rahm. The general 20-1 looks about right, making the stand-out price too big.
