Again we never got hot. Blomqvist was very disappointing, while Wessberg got it to 4 under half-way thru the 3rd round and seemed to be mounting a charge before coming home in 40 on the back nine, essentially ending her chances.

Blomqvist was rookie of the year in 2004, a season which inluded a victory in Hungary and an 8th in the Women's British Open at Suningdale (where she shot a 62!). Her form this year has been OK, with 3 top 20 finishes in her last 4 appearences in Europe, including a 10th in Italy last week. Clearly a player of some promise.

Linda Wessberg to win 25/1 e.w.   at Skybet

Sticking with the young guns of the tour. Wessberg's form remains sound, and she finished 3rd last year in this event. Her putting has been her strength this year, and hopefully that can lead to a strong finish here. 25/1 seems to warrant an investment.
